hi,

Well, As an outsider i was amazed at the level of democracy that LOTC
enjoyed....

At a council meet(at which I will a privilaged guest) there were opposing
opinions and heated arguments...but in all matters everyone got to vote and
to decide what to do...

While Codric may be the leader of all him kingdom...his main role is to
encourage debate and to allow every man/woman and child have their opinion
heard by the others.

A truely awe inspiring meeting.

Further...if you notice, the general mails sent to the g2 list come from a
few main sources, but they can be signed from several different lords...this
is because within very short walking distance the main core of LOTC enjoys
"hanging" out in RL...drinking their coke
and eating those increadible sweet cakes for breakfast (don't worry it is a
continental
europe thing..but us here in Ireland prefer honest to good dead animals
fried to a crisp
in boiling vats of oil....we call it egg, saus, bacon and pudding(dried
animal blood)..

and if you think I am joking...visit Ireland and ask for an "Irish
Breakfast"!!!)

Well, my input to this debate is democracy is good and it leads to a great
game...

but I also think that Tyrants are also needed...hell without the occosional
ravin' Loonie
the world of Olympia would be very boring!!!
