Last June, Rich posted the following message to the g2-list:

While this snippet of code isn't enough for me to figure out what is
really going on, it is clear that Rich believed it would fix the problem.
I coulda sworn I had at least one player report to me that in fact it was
working (e.g. that "feral" nobles returned their NP(s) when LR'd), but
looking through my archive, I do not in fact find such a report.

Has *anyone* observed that a noble of theirs that went independent
and subsequently died while still independent ever returned any NPs
when that character dissolved or was LR'd ??
