I but wish to point out that we have a few rules around here. The
second shelf is for my Oreo cookies and root beer. The indefinite
articles 'a' and 'an' have the same rule as 'my' and 'mine': 'an' (and
'mine') are proper only when followed by a vowel or an 'h' followed by a
vowel as in 'hotel' (but not as in 'hrungnir.')

So for the marines:
