why are you being such a child?
why are you LOOKING for insults?
My recent posts to you contained no insults to you or your group. My
insinuations that Plato's causes may not be all they say they are is hardly a
novel thought voiced only by me. Plato is by it's own admission war-like and
expansionist. They have, again by their own admission, used force and the
threat of force to attempt to make other groups conform to their view of how
the world should run. And they have mis-represented themselves in the past as
to these actions.
Do I condemn Plato for this? No. I accept them for what they are. But if
you're going to use strong-arm tactics to force your will upon others, don't
act surprised and hurt when others make observations pointing this out.
I must admit I don't fully understand your motivation here. Do you really
think Plato is not considered warlike and agressive? Do you really think that
my posts to the list are somehow damaging your reputation? If anything, I
believe my willingness to deal with Plato in a civilized manner presents a
wonderful opportunity for Plato to repair the damage done to their rep in the
past. I'm asking the questions that others have. I'm attempting to give you a
chance to reply to the questions that are put to me, about you, everyday in
private emails. I'm trying to give you a chance to handle this in a public
forum so you can show the world what the true Plato is all about. I fear
you're doing a much better job at it then I thought you would. But I am
surprised at the result.
I would urge you to reread the list posts of the last week and see if you can
find where, when and by who the petty insults started. Perhaps then you'll
have a better idea of what I'm talking about.
