In regards to this now public diplomacy, let me make a few notes on this
statement. The facts presented by TIBs are mainly true. However, as in
all such positioning, there are a few areas where our account of things
differs from theirs.
Firstly, we strongly dispute one point that TIBs made that "STC made 3
points clear:... that they had no other castle on Tollus." We never said
or implied anything of the form. The STC is a single faction working with
other factions on Tollus, many of which are finding common ground given
TIBs current claims and posturing.
One other thing omitted by TIBs is that the first treaty they offered the
STC after we made claim to four cities in southwest Tollus was for us to
have only two cities. Subsequent negotiations have now got them to
relinquish up to 40% of the continent for non-TIBs
The STC is still more than willing to treat with TIBs, though we will not
do it publicly. Both the STC & TIBs castles are done and we do not wish
the so-called "land grab". Nor do we want this to resort to military
actions.
The other non-TIBs land holders & factions known to me have empowered me to
negotiate for them. We propose a 50/50 split of the continent, half for
TIBs and half for the rest of us. We would of course welcome other
factions and alliances to our half.
Lastly, I offer my apologies to the readers for the bringing of this local
dirty laundry border squabble to the front pages.
