Yea, but wasn't that rule to get rid of huge beast stacks? I think draft
animals--horses & oxen--a pretty different situation. We got rid of big
beast stacks b/c it unbalanced the game. I don't think having hundreds of
oxen will unbalance the game. Huge oxen stacks certainly were not the
lynch-pin of any G1 strategy. & the necessity to bring extra animals & to
use up noble points breeding replacement oxen is irritating with no real
benefit (i.e. fun benefit).

It's realistic, sure: but so is eating, & you don't see Rich programing in
the necessity for food do you? We don't focus on food because it's boring,
& breeding draft animals is boring too.

Also, my horses seem to go lame just as often when they're just lounging
about the manger. :)
