I have found the most strife caused when I meddle with the game;
thus, I now try to change as little as possible in ongoing games.
I had to make some changes to G1 mid-stream. I and many players
felt these were necessary, but even so I got considerable hate mail.
Fortunately the Olympia design is quite mature at this point...
I haven't had any requests filling my mailbox to fix urgent design
problems.
I am interested in new ideas for Olympia, but would be most likely
to use them in a fresh game, not add them to G2. I encourage
players to suggest such ideas on the design@pbm.com mailing list.
