Below is a list of the known (or conjectured) 15th C Burgundian Basse Dances and tenors. For each dance, I have given the steps in all known sources (Footnotes: Steps and Sources) and the tenor in MIDI format (Footnote: Formats), if it is known. My own settings I have supplied in both MIDI and Adobe Acrobat (R) (PDF) formats. For permission to use these files, please follow this link.
I have used Fredrick Cranes's excellent source Some Materials for the Study of the 15th Century Basse Dance as a starting point for this list. In most cases I have followed the Brussels MS for the melody, although occasionally I have used Toulouze (especially in the case or repeated dances) or other sources (Footnote: Sources). More information about the procedures used for setting these dances and the intended instrumentation is available.
I've sorted the dances by length, in large part because music for two dances of the same length can be substituted. (Also, check for music at integer multiples of the desired length. An alphabetical index is also available.

This piece from the Namur Archives is in a mixture of white and black breves (notes 6--10 are black). It is also in the phyrgian mode, which is unusual for a basse dance tenor, indicating it might be a fragment or a pen test. (If you double the length of the white notes, you get a 19 notes tenor.
[Table of Lengths][Alphabetical Index]
What looks like it could be 9 notes of the tenor of a basse dance called Amours is found in a manuscript in the Namur Archives (Crane says it could be a tenor fragment or just a pen test). Its also in Mixolydian mode which is unusual for most basse dance tenors. I've written the tenor here with a repeat and raised the leading tone to the "cadence". (MIDI Format). J is a sixteenth century source and should properly be followed by a standard moitie bringing the total number of measures up to 30.

(Music Only) This countermelody is found above a tenor in stroke notation in MS Digby 167 at the Oxford Library. As the counterpoint is in imperfect tempus, it is doubtful that this is a true basse dance, but it is at least an interesting example of 15th C counterpoint over a uniform tenor. Tenor only (MIDI Format). Tenor + counterpoint from DIgby MS (MIDI Format, PDF format). Note: flat in lower clef key signature only. Editorial flats in upper clef are from Crane; editorial sharps are mine.

This is the most famous of the basse dances, its tenor (MIDI format) first appears in Cornazano's Treatise (one of the earlier Italian sources), and Gombassi lists 241 know settings of the tune (not all of them dances), and more have been discovered since then. There are so many settings of this piece available in modern editions and recordings, I have given it its own page. Here I include only two: (1) the Falla Con Misurus MIDI Format, PDF format) setting due to Guiliemus (presumably the Italian dancemaster Ebreo) which is perhaps the most familiar to dancers and (2) The Agnus Dei II from Issac's Missa La Spanga, which Gombassi also finds in another anonymous source. The Issac Spagna is relatively easy for intermediate level musicians and is available in a performers edition from London Pro Musica (LPM EML 120). Be very careful, not all versions of La Spagna have the basse dance rhythm or the right number of measures.

The music here is obviously faulty (for one thing it begins and ends on a B, which would have produced the unused Locrian mode). As one solution to the problem, I've added accidentals to produce a Lydian mode tenor (MIDI). Crane solves this problem by moving the clef, yielding a more usual Dorian mode tenor (MIDI).
