We have spotted several turns ago nobles using the garrisons in that area

Newbies have been noted interacting with LoC nobles and garrisons,
even supplying troops, yet I think that not all were or are even not
LoC. They were new players bartering what they could do for
means and services to help them get started, I think. Perhaps some
have joined the LoC since, perhaps not. A new player trying to
make his way is no reason to wantonly brand him/her an enemy
and attack them while young and inexperienced. Those who have
bartered with and helped Mimi and Titi,-- the Grimm brothers and
their allies, Banderi the cat, and many others come to mind--have
not been assumed enemies and attacked be the enemies of the
LoC, just because they were easily preyed upon newbies who
happened to deal with those among whom they were cast.
And the opportunity to do them and others like them harm,
has presented itself and continues to do so. But we do not
delight in slaying newbies just because they happened to
start in an enemy's territory and happened to do business with
the enemy. This does not necessiarily brand them as such
unless they later develop and show themselves to be so.
Is this not the great sin of PLATO against Codric and the Fence
which first spawned this ongoing war. This is the action you
cried out against and deplored. And, here now you repeat it
yourself. You have become what you fight against. Look in
the mirror and you will see the face of all you rail against looking
back at yourself.
