Trolls

Some people get their kicks out of trolling the newsgroups
and message boards looking for egos to toy with. They usually
have no interest in the subject matter and try to turn every
discussion into a general mudslinging contest. It's some
sort of sad, sick little game they enjoy. The best way to
deal with this is to just ignore them. They'll get bored and
go look for a more reactionary crowd. If your urge to reply
is generally high it might help to autoroute their email to
the trash.
