On behalve of our lady:

Greetings to all,

It seems that the unexpected Ergoth-action has disturbed the Muskateers
plans...

While reading those comments one or two reactions came through my mind :

-the tone of the message from Maltar is very bully (it shows that their
Alliance with Plato, or should I say Oleg, pays dividend) and leaves no
room for any form of negociation.

I want to thank Regent Elthar to have published the entire mail (unlike
Greg, like always) because now we have a good idea about the tone of this
message (and if you take out some phrases you can always twist them into
your favour)

-the fact that Oleg is included in the header of the reply has nothing to
do with him being an ally. He and Maltar are just competing in the
who-is-the-biggest-asshole-competition, that's all, but I think (despite
Maltars mails are getting better) Oleg is out of competition for this one.

-the quick reactions from both Oleg and Maltar prove they are upset by this
event (No need to support the LotC...??) and surprised by the guts of the
smaller Ergoth-nation. (go, Ergoth, go) so now the Muskateers are not only
facing their "members" dropping off, the Lords continue to withstand their
"might" but now also they have to face a challenge from an unexpected side
and apparently these guys won't flee under the insults and the screaming of
Maltar...

-both Maltar and Oleg try to drag others into this scrimmage :

They are trying to scare Ergoth for a possible future (when LotC will
become YOUR neighbours, what would happen to their freedom...) Oleg
obviously doesn't think very high of the power of his ally against us ;-)

The Lords fully respect and certainly admire the Nation of Ergoth for their
actions and we are not likely to change our attitude towards them.
Oleg is still talking about us "Invading" Plato and Rimmon while we are
just responding to earlier agressions from them and having taken the wars
into their territory with a certain margin of success.

The lowest Maltar-move altough, is certainly the call for diplomatic help
towards TIB's and the Syr Antin to try and persuade Regent Elthar to
withdraw from their freshly acquired lands. And not only that, but they
want this to happen behind the screens (not allowing us to enjoy the rest
of this story).

Why don't you take care of this yourself, Maltar ? You didn't need any
diplomatic intervenience when you decided to join Plato and attack us ?

Or maybe you are not able to take care of it yourself, maybe there isn't
much left of the Muskateers a part from a loud mouth ?? (comparison with
another Olympia-soap-figure is purely coincidence)

Lady Eowyn
