[ As an aside, it is considered unethical to re-post private email to
a mailing list. Perhaps next time you can just quote a few choice
phrases; that's closer to fair use... or you can ask permission of the
author to re-post the email, which would hopefully be granted, since
it makes sense in the game context to do so. -- greg, not Oleg ]

I am an ally of the Muskateers. I have a great concern that they don't
get involved in needless wars while we are both being invaded by the
Lords of the Crown.

If you want to pile on, then by all means do so. No need to dress it
up in diplomatic terms; just attack and be done with it.

Ever consider visiting Toppe? How about Cormyr?

Then demand suitable damages. No need to support the Lords of the
Crown while you're at it. Sounds like the Muskateers were interested
in fruitful negotiations before you decided to go public. Then again,
by going public, you can liven up the otherwise dull plodding of
diplomacy around here...

If you're lucky, the Lords of the Crown won't take away your freedom
when they become YOUR neighbor.

[ Actually, that part of the movie was bullshit: that style of
"freedom" is a quite 18th century and later concept. The actual
landscape of 14th century Scotland was much like Olympia: the world
revolved around the actions of the great nobles, not the wishes of the
common man. Wallace was just another great man. -- g_not_O ]
