Correction/Retraction:

I did not mean to imply that anyone in the game is treated differently by
Rich. I don't think that anyone has ever benefited from being Rich's
friend. I have no evidence nor any reason to suspect that Rich treats
anyone differently.

In fact, Rich probably deletes messages from his friends, just like he
deletes my messages.
