hear hear!

I have recently started in Harn and find myself in the middle of a damn
warzone!! I am NOT going to give my ID's to the BoRG and have no interest in
their little spat with the LoTC. I will find a way to exact my vengance should
one of my ships be attacked.

This sounds pretty nice from a distance, but when you're new and have a
total of 8 sailors and a bunch of workers, and are in the area in
contention, it sounds like "Dance, Pilgrim!" If I had the gold and
resources to put 100 pirates on my exploration boat, sure, I'd be willing to
say, "Hey, bugger off!" But I and most people who started after turn 100
don't. Also, there exists the problem that the BoRG is a purely military
group. How much defense is enough when you're dealing with an alliance that
doesn't bother with mining or that other junk?
Another problem is the definition of the AO. East of Harn is like
saying any row between dj and dq inclusive, considering the wraparound. If
I'm in 99 am I safe or am I East of Harn? Then I have to ask again for 00.
Shall we just concede the whole area if we aren't a para-military
established force? Bitch is all I can do. Therefore, by god, I'm a gonna!
