Lord Andrew,
The CLAIM command only works for items in your "Unclaimed items:
" area of your turn report. This will consist of your starting goods,
and any gold you receive for news posts, etc. The items covered by
the ACCEPT command are personal items belonging to and with the Noble
in question, and in true medieval tradition, will be carried all over
the lot. Coordinating trade-offs between factions and Nobles within
those factions is the heart of the fine art of alliances.... the
which we are all still sometimes screwing up!
