If this was a beta test sure. But we are paying money to play a game that
has been running over 1 year. I can't believe I would have to test skills
out on throwaway nobles. The rules clearly state how the skill works. The
game code is broken here. The rules clearly state that compensation should
be given. From the rules:

"All compensation given for bugs is solely at the discretion of the GM.
Effects for minor bugs are assumed to even out across most players over the
course of the game, so compensation is usually granted only for bugs which
have seriously impacted a player. "

I would think that losing 20-30 skills because of a bug in EotD would
constitute "seriously impacting a player". But don't hold your breath
waiting to get your skills.
