As for the last part, as the NPs were deducted, I'd have to say that
the task was a success. They just want to get what they "played" for.

As for the first part...you betcha! I was told by 1 GM that he had to
basically run individual turns for only the units involved to correct
similar errors in another PBM game...ie: isolating the units being
corrected, then running turns for them only until the necessary adjustments
were made. As there were limits to how much could be corrected each turn
it took awhile.

If any of you out there plan to try writing a program for a game some day,
try to leave yourself a trapdoor whereby "God" can go in and "create"
something out of nothing. Consider it good "PR".
