Back from the battlefield

Sorry I've been quite but I've been out in the field and haven't been
able to get to a postbox in a while. These wars keep you busy you
know.

Looking over the mail it seems everybody is missing a vital detail.
None of the actual combatants are complaining. Surely if any of us
were worried about actually losing this conflict don;t you think we'd
be screaming for help. I'm not. The Lords certainly aren't. Inner
Circle aren't complaining. No one is yelling about being crushed by
overwhelming forces.

To tell you the truth we have two major theatres of operation and the
balance in each one is on a knife edge. The forces have been
equalised recently and the bug being fixed will even the odds from
now on. In any case Codric's successes have been in good strategy
more than just brute force. We have all learned lessons in land and
just recently naval warfare (Yes folks it works and its wonderful).
And neither side has anywhere near tapped their full resources.

In short both sides think they will win and meantime we are having a
great time. It sure beats garrisoning one more swamp province or
waiting to see if your research has failed again.

So in short I highly recomend the occasional healthy war to stimulate
your economy, focus the mind and provide a purpose to all that has
gone before. But please find your own.

The Lords are next door. Inner Circle is next door to that. Both
Inner Circle and The Lords have a fine track record in dealing with
newbies and the New Empire is relocated. So why is it anyone else's
business? We all trade and move around the region in dispute. As far
as I know the only other Alliances that have actual dealings in the
area are the Tuatha, PLATO and the Muskateers. The Tuatha say we are
silly but will still trade with both of us (visit Geneva sometime),
PLATO's opinions are well known and the Muskateers tell us all to
grow up and go back to garrisoning half the known world.

TIB's don;t care, The Jackals are too far away to really care, The
Bandit Lords don;t say what they think, and the Camarians don't
trade, visit or talk to any of us as far as I know. (Oh except when
the Lords and the Crimson Dragons swap lists of PLATO nobles)

Do the other people hogging the list belong to any alliance here
or one I've missed?

If everyone is going to jump in let's get it over with but let's not
get hysterical here. No one is running around with hostile all
orders. The area we are fighting in is deserted except for us and
always has been. Why don't you wait and see what happens before
everyone gets all hot and bothered. We are all big boys thanks.

Jheremai

PS Don't tell the Tattoed One but what is all the fuss about Inner
Circle joining in? They only have one castle for Christ;s sake :-)
