And when the battle starts do you really think these people are going
to fight to their best abilty or are you going to employ NKVD to make
sure they do.

So are you going to keep a stock of iuntrained peasants as well, or
are you going to recruit and train them each turn in a single province
I think thats what 10 a go plus 10 days to train them so the enemy
approaches from 3 months away, you can raise 30 men in that time you
think he may bring a little more, and if you recruit fronm your
surronding area you still then have to move them, it would become a
race against time, and all the time you are doing this they are
slaying your garrisons destroying you Civ leval by pillaging thus
reducing you tax capacity and using your money to pay for his army,
and what stops him sending out recruiting parties.

If you think you could get away with what you are suggesting I think
you are going to loose.

NO No No, you just have to plan careful time you attack right , with
adiquate recon carried out , tactics like raiding into enemy lands to
reduce his ability to raise taxes, their is so many options available,
you just have to use a little more thought to solve the problem.

If you are attacking a castle that is that far away from your nearest
lands then you are either very ambitious have very understanding
neighours or going very wrong somewhere.
