To this part of the treaty Plato never agreed, neither in letter nor in
spirit. We have two valid & to my mind unassailable reasons to keep tabs
on SE Provinia. First, SE Provinia is close, & hostile people there
could easily attack us here. The idea that because Provinia & Camaris
have different names that they have mutually exclusive security
interests is absurd. Because of ship movement rules, I am a close
neighbor to all SE Provinia: closer in fact than to most of Camaris.
Second, we like Olympia & wish it to survive. In that vein, we wish to
make the areas surrounding safe havens safe for newbies. Uncharitable
suspicion by the pundits does not make this any the less true.

It is ours to give freely if we have it, whatever noble TIBS might say.

I realize that many in Oly think this 'newbie protection' stuff a mere
ruse for our true bloodthirsty motives. But Captain Arrr is not an
indecisive noble: when he sees what is right he is engaged &, insofar
as he is able, he will achieve it. Your doubts, are not his doubts.

-best wishes,
Captain Arrrr
