Which proves my point quite well -- even if Rich reserves the right to
change a game to preserve balance, some players will whine too much
for him to do it. Oh well.

Given that BSE had a lot of GM discression, it doesn't make a good
comparison to any computer-moderated game. However, it was also
screwed up in many fundamental ways, and players complained all the time
because they wanted the game to stay screwed up.
