Hi All,
I don't usually say a lot in public , but as the owner of Bobo 6356 , I
feel it is time for me to explain a few things. I have been in the game
since turn 1 , I started with a friend (together we later strted The Fence
Alliance) we bobbed along in the game , just having lots of fun. We were in
contact with an aalince calle The New Empire :) We never joined them though
, we asked for some support , because we wanted to build a boat and sail
off , this unfortunately failed , so we decided to move farther eastward
and establish ourselves there.
Then , one turn twelve , indeed , I all of a sudden found myself on the
number one place fo land ownership , I of course was over the moon ,
thinking this was really cool. And my friend and I had big plans on how we
could loot the New Empire's garrison:) Unfortunately , the turn after , the
nice people over at the Crimson Citadel realized that one of there memebers
had pledged to the wrong Bobo and all of a sudden I fell back to the 117th
place.
What a drag !! :))
Well , in any case , we bobbed along further , and all of a sudden , the
New Empire (our dirrect neighbours , seemed to be crushed to pieces by
PLATO , this worried us a little , and worried us even more when Cernennos
was knocking on our door. Knock , Knock , Knock , ... We've come to kill
Bobo they said:) Oh , I said , may I know why , and they explained. And I
can't blame them for that , they had for them well founded reasons , you
only have my word to go on as to why I showed up as the owner of Crimson
Citadel. I never realized that me and my friend would get into so much
truble over a little mistake by The NE.
Well in any case , we were able to to persuade PLATO , (luckily and
probably because of the rather large army we had that PLARO didn't expect
:)). I must say I have a lot of respect for the PLATO players , maybe I
don't agree with some of their reasonings , but as human beings , they seem
to be pretty cool (I'll probably piss off some of my alliance mebers by
saying this). Oh , there's another thing , anything I have said , or will
say in this getting rather long email , is totally and completely only my
vision on the happenings (not that of The other members of thez Fence
Alliance , or The Lords Of The Crown , who we now fall under). Now I feel I
must say something about the Lords Of The Crown , that might help to
clarify some of the great misunderstandings that happened in the Past , and
that are partly quite directly responsible for the World War that's about
to break out (oh By the Way , grerat Email Keith , loved reading it , tell
me whatcha think of mine). The fact is that I am the ONLY native english
speaker within the Lords Of The Crown , so you can understand that it is
sometimes difficult for the other members of my alliance to say what they
want to say clearly. On a few occasions (from an Englishman's point of
view) I have pointed out to Sir Codric , that the way he writes is rather
"agressive" , while I much prefer the calm and respecttful approach , As I
said earlier , if you look at it from a Objective point of view , The
attack on Toppe was completely justified within PLATO's reasoning. But ,
then again , even though his emails can be rather threatoning , in most
cases it is never meant that way. It is hard for them to understand why
they sound that way , probably because English is not their first language.
Now having said that , I must also say that some of our Neighbours don't
seem to be very understanding in that resect , I'm not going to show you
quotes or whatever , because I'm not like that , but I think the respective
person(s) will know what I'm talking about. You might think : "Oh , it's
easy for him to say that...." , but then just imagine yourself as a
foreigner (Belgian) for a moment. In any case , I don't want to start
whining and complaining , so I'm going to stop on this subject.
As I'm going a long , I'm realising how much fun this actually is , typing
long emails and stuff , I think I might do it more often.
Well , that's just about all I have to say. I'm wondering how it will all
turn out. Which ever way it goes , I hope everyone (yes everyone , even our
enemies) are having a great time . Oh and sorry for me using the g2 list
for this email , but I really don't know which people to send it to ,
because I think their are a lot who are interested.
