I would bet that the missile value is only applicable if the
archer/crossbowman is not being attacked 1 on 1.
That is the reason for the behind command - if the being is attacked they use
attack/defense.
ie if there are 500 archers at behind 0 attacked by 250 swordsmen, I believe
that 250 archers attack with missiles and 250 archers attack with 5,5. If
this were not true then there would be no need for the behind command.
