I disagree. G1 would have been a much more interesting game had a few
more changes been made in mid-stream. There were significant changes
made to G1, such as outlawing speed-cast of trance, and reducing the
value of orbs and control items. These were all necessary changes in a
game which is attempting to run for a long time.
However, only big problems of game balance should be adjusted by rules
changes. The trade proposals and behind change do not fall into this
category.
