Fellow Olympians,
Many moons ago, before the Yellowleaf Accord, we were at odds with the Harn Confederacy, known then as the Harn Alliance. They insulted us, calling us various epithets such as thief and liar. While this made us seethe, we calmed ourselves -- they were only words.
This changed when a "ghazi" was called on our lands by the horselord, Khamath. The horselord roamed our lands, wreaking havoc and causing consternation. We asked him to leave, more than once, but he continued his scouting and pillaging. Our warnings can be seen clearly in the Times, issues 54, 55, and 56. In Times 56, we wrote:
"If you would be so kind to forget your 'Ghazi' plan we can leave it at that, if you choose to keep harassing us the way you are now, we will not keep appealing for peace while you are scouting our territory."
Still, Khamath ignored our pleas and he reaped what he sow. His allies, no surprise, agreed with him:
"Firstly, regarding the Ghazi's. At this time I do not take part in any of these potential raids on LoC territory, although I may decide to do so later on with short prior notice."
Upon our word, we retaliated. Khamath bared a knife and we shot back.
------------------------------------------------ It was hoped that the war could be fought with honour. In our march, we captured several nobles and with no policy for war prisoners we held them. Jheremai contacted us and asked for leniency. These are my brother's nobles, my kin, he claimed. If you release these nobles, Dragonsbane would be kept out and he said he would attempt to keep Bobantine out. With pity and this agreement, we released the prisoners of war and sent them off with a horse. To prevent one from dying, we even teleported a healing potion.
Of course, this was a set-up. Jheremia was scheming. As the nobles were leaving for safe land, Jheremia moved his troops in to kill Sir Codric. The same day, the besieged Khamath moved out to do the same.
In conclusion, Jheremia used our honour against us. He broke an agreement that we kept. We went above and beyond by teleporting a healing potion, yet his troops continued to march.
This betrayal has caused us to re-think our position on prisoners of war. Betrayed, we will exact our revenge: All prisoners currently held will be executed.
If any other parties wish to discuss prisoners of war, please contact us. We'll keep our side of the agreement if you do.

The Bobantine Empire, a member of the Confederacy of Harn has a number of announcements.
Firstly we would like to thank the Inner Circle for coming to our aid in our time of need. It is good to know we have friends that are fast and true.
It should also be noted that any ships sailing off our south coast should announce their presence forwith. These waters have seen some heavy naval action and this is likely to continue. All ships should fly banners clearly identifying their allegiance.
In a related notice we would like to call for any ships captains to apply for Letters of Marque authourising them to take privateer action against ships of the Lords of the Crown. We will pay a bounty on all ships captured or sunk but only to ships carrying the proper Letters. We do not encourage wholesale piracy. Apply to myself at the address below.
The Empire is also calling for mercenary captains to particpate in the war with the Lords. The terms of the contract would depend on what nobles and troops are provided.
To the younger sons of impoverished houses why not swear alliegance and win honour glory and a fief of your own. Factions that join the Empire will be assigned independant fiefs in perpetuity if they distinguish themselves in the service of the Empire. Please note we are not suggesting this land will be taken from the Lords. We have plenty of peaceful areas that need to be settled.
We are also calling for enterprising spirits to provide us with the raw materials of war (horses, weapons, beasts, wood, iron, etc) for extremely generous prices.
And who said war was bad for the economy.
Don't ask what you can do for the war Ask what the war can do for you!!
I personally would also like to pay tribute to my foe the Great Sir Codric. Recently he had captured two nobles near Greton in pitched battle involving over 300 men. One was my half brother Borag Calfor and the other was his man-at-arm, Black Bruce. Both were gravely wounded in the fighting and both subsequently took ill of their wounds. Borag in particular was close to death. At great risk and effort to himself Codric rode back past Greton and released the two prisoners. He also provided them with horses and a healing potion to speed them on their way. Both recovered and are doing well. I would just like to take this chance to salute a noble enemy who knows how to fight with honour. I am in his debt and look forward to repaying him at an appropriate time.

The Southern Ossicus Alliances (SOA) would like to announce that an amicable and fair border agreement had been reached with all other alliances currently on Ossicus. As of this date there is no unoccupied land on the island.
To any parties interested in travelling through Ossicus, you are required to contact SOA prior to your journey to avoid any misunderstandings.
Lord Saggar would also like to announce that stacks of more than 10 fighters are prohibited on Ossicus and its surrounding waters. Such stacks will be removed without prior notice. This is to facilitate the peaceful nature of the island and to allow nobles the freedom of travel without the fear of attacks from rogue nobles.

I was quite surprised to find your note on the g2-list regarding the Rimmon Musketeers' claim of the continent of Atala. We feel much as the native American Indians must have felt when Columbus claimed North America for Spain. Especially considering that I, my allies, nor my neighbors have ever encountered your nobles on the Atala.
While not speaking for my neighbors, We are a friendly bunch, but we will defend those lands that we inhabit.
Therefore we object seriously to a Provinian super-alliance making claims of continents far, far away from its home.
