Captain Arr is sadly mistaken in his recent comments on the g2-list. First, and most importantly, I have until now made no public statements concerning the recent developments in the Yellowleaf area. For what its worth, my opinion is that although there may have been minor violations of the "spirit" of the Yellowleaf Accord on both sides, the recent landing near Yellowleaf of PLATO forces under the control of Captain Arr is the only major violation that is significant enough to merit response by other parties.
Second, I am neither "disgruntled" nor "beaten". I held out, with very little support, against the best PLATO could throw at me for over sixteen turns, until the arrival of my allies forced PLATO to the peace table. I received a fair and equitable settlement, and publicly stated that I consider my conflict with PLATO over. I still consider this to be true.
Although Arr appears to be attempting to draw me back in, I will honor our non-aggression pact and stay out of this conflict. I have relocated most of my operations to the far north, as agreed in the Accord, and will remain there.

In the last Times, there were some rumors about the Church of Egraal. We assure you the Church has never charged any "consultant fees" from inexperienced nobles, and we have not tried to kill anyone. The writer of the rumors is a simple liar. We think we know who he is. He hates the Church for no reason.
And of course the Church is not a front for the SA. (another false rumour from the last Times)
_Public information about the Church of Egraal_ Visit: http://www.algonet.se/~fsievert/index.html !

Praise be Egraal. His mercy endures. However, sometime His mercy looks like killing.

The Church of Egraal is NOT a front for the Shadow Alliance - it's the other way around
Chained in heaven are they. Seven is their number. Bred in depths of ocean, neither male or female are they. They are as the howling wind, which knoweth not mercy, which knoweth not pity.
Heedless are they to pray and supplication. They are the serpent. They are the furious beast. The windstorm.
Evil winds they are. The evil breath that heraldeth the baneful storm. They are mighty children. Heralds of pestilence. Throne bearers of Ereshigal.
They are the flood which rusheth through the land. Seven gods of might. Seven demons of oppression. Seven in heaven and seven on Olympia.
Of giant strenght and tread are they. Knowing no care they grind the land like corn.
Knowing no mercy they rage against mankind, to spill blood like rain and devour flesh.
Let they seven now rise from the abyss. Away be cast all chains. Freedom is to them. Power is to them.
Olympia tremble!

Lay off the SA, OK? At least they don't have sex with horses - unlike *some* others that we know of...
Did you know that "Egraal" is an acronym for: Egraal's Gnarly Rodents Are Abominable Losers?
No, I'll bet you didn't. Well, now you do...

The Vulture Speaks
Not much news from the warzone. Luckily, your correspondent has a great view from above, circling waiting for the occasional unguarded corpse. We see that Harn has yet to concentrate it's forces, and thus is losing many small battles. Codric's ego is growing with each victory, but he is taking losses (tasty ones at that) and has yet to reinforce. He is not the first commander to make this mistake; hopefully like all the others before him he will make good eating.
So far the conflict has not spread. EAGLE still hides fearfully in the nest, again leaving an ally high and dry until it's too late. The Illustrated Man sits on his favorite seat, the fence, and from Rimmon not a peep. PLATO, providers of so many good meals in the past, surpisingly seems to be sitting this one out too, after all their harsh talk and now meaningless threats. Even Eric the Peacehawk hasn't had anything to say lately--both he and Oleg quiet at the same time? An Olympic first from our vantage point.
Mayhap we shall have to fly further afield for our next meal. We hear that the self-proclaimed peaceniks of TIBs are busy "pacifying" some folks near Drassa that don't want to play along. Rumors of conflict on an unnamed continent have reached our ears, involving the two major alliances who are keeping their war private for reasons of their own. We hope these rumors are true, since only war provides us with better eating than those unsatisfying savages you nobles seems to spend so much time killing.
Think of your feathered brethren, and start a war!

Full scale invasion in the South! Excuse my recent uncharacteristic silence. Let me give you a small update of what is going on in the fair Harn region. The enemy, the Codricker himself, now supported by several stacks of stunties has invaded from the west and from the sea in the south. The Kingdom has, as of yet, reported light causalties consisting of several garrisons, mostly peasants. Having said that, we expect losses to mount this turn and the next.

Greetings fellow Olympians,
It is with great honor and pride that I, Sir Codric, Lord of the Crown, may present you the grand opening of our little corner on the web. It has come to the Lords attention that in the past many a diplomatic problems have been created because of our silence. It is true that we are men of few words, and that we do not engage ourselves in needless chatter as many other rulers often do, but this has set the public opinion against us in the past. Following the advice of my dearest wife, Lady Eowyn, I have therefore decided that the Lords of the Crown will publish every information we wish to share with the rest of Olympia on public ground. Representing all the Lords of the Crown, I welcome you to our site.
