DescriptionHistory: For hundreds of years, the planets of the known quadrants of Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Gamma have been at war, but that is all about to come to an end. In 2699 it is finished. "Out with the old and in with the new." is phrase most spoken in the year and change had finally come. The Quadrant Summit of 2699 where the talks of peace finally were making headway. Also, the Quadrant Accords of 2699 were born. These accords were created to keep the peace and to enforce the no arms rule, when it came to talks and disputes. Also, the "Neutral Zone" was removed so interstellar trade routes could be established. However, Star Fleet Intelligence were getting reports of civil unrest. Radical and extremist groups were beginning to rear their ugly heads, and something had to be done about them. Current Timeline: In response to these threats, a classified project codename "Epsilon" was created in order to battle these groups that wanted to return us back to war torn galaxy that we once were. Spearheaded by the newly promoted Admiral Sato Yamata project "Epsilon", was in full swing. Funding was granted and sanctioned, however, to not arise suspicion and cause a panic, project "Epsilon" was kept classified and under wraps. Those who needed to know knew, and those that did not know did not need to know. There was one thing left to do and that was choose a ship and a crew. Admiral Yamata knew of one man suitable for the job and the was a newly promoted Captain Aiden Daniels, who was fresh out of the Captain Academy. Captain Daniels was a fresh face and easily moldable and trainable. The ship that was brought back into service was the USS Zeus, a refitted and reconditioned Vesta class starship dubbed the "God of Skys." and this ship was the first ever mobile command and tactical unit designed for multi-mission exploration. Also installed was "Hera" the ships new multi-functional AI, that could even download a body if needed. So, at this point with the USS Zeus in space dock for checks and modifications, Captain Daniels is eagerly awaiting his crew.
