DescriptionThe Universal Charismatic Church (U.C.C.) is the largest megachurch in the United States. It is led by a popular television evangelist whose television program is broadcast worldwide and who owns the newest television network in America. 2014. The television evangelist decides to enter politics. He creates a new political party called "The Christian Democratic Party". Its goal is to restore traditional family values to America. 2015. The television evangelist announces his candidacy for President of the United States. CDP candidates run for political office in all fifty states. The television evangelist launches his campaign, which he calls "The Great Crusade". The campaign is embraced by the Tea Party and American Conservatives, who flock to the evangelist's campaign and desert a weak Republican Party that is on the brink of collapse due to a series of crippling political scandals and rampant corruption. Between 2015 and 2016, "The Great Crusade" grows and the Christian Democratic Party becomes popular. The evangelist and the CDP are supported by the American people. On November 8, 2016, the evangelist is elected President of the United States and Congress, the state governments of all fifty states, and local governments come under CDP control. On January 20, 2017, he is inaugurated President. Immediately changes begin to take place across the country. Americans turn away from their current faiths and join the UCC. UCC churches are established from coast to coast. Attendance at those churches skyrockets. UCC religious revival meetings are held across the nation. At the same time the country is seeing a secular design. Other religious faiths suddenly suffer persecution. American schools become UCC educational institutions. Congress passes strange laws. The new President is increasing his power. What is happening? What Americans don't know is that the evangelist President is establishing a religious dictatorship. He will soon abolish the Constitution. Separation of Church and State will become a thing of the past. A new regime is taking power. The American people support what is happening. But a small number of Americans suspect that something is not right. These Americans come together to form an underground resistance movement to oppose the evangelist President and his regime. The Resistance, as the movement is called, is led by a female leader. They are determined to defeat the new religious regime and restore freedom to America. But it will not be an easy fight. The American people support the new regime. The U.C.C.'s Secret Police is on high alert and collaborators are everywhere. But the Resistance won't give up. They are aided by allies who join their fight against the evangelist President and his regime. But the U.C.C. also has allies.
