DescriptionInheritor of a dying world... Long have you dwelt in darkness... That darkness can now be light... How you arrived at this place, you do not know, but where you go from here will be tales of future legend. You stand in the courtyard of a smashed and ruined citadel surrounded by siege machines and implements of battle now silent. Crumbling walls, smashed portcullises and makeshift barricades suggest that whatever happened here you missed long ago. Such was the intensity of the battle it is hard to see where it started or how it ended, and curiously anything of value, weapons and armor, seems to have been scavenged. A sound, a trickling of water from a fountain, flows into the basin next to a statue of a warrior maiden... Climbing the wall alongside one of the still standing towers you see a rocky wasteland extending in all directions framed by jagged mountains that reach into a blackened cloud and soot filled sky. In the distance you can see a number of landmarks... Wringworld is a solo Dungeons & Dragons campaign where the actions of your newly arrived character will shape the destiny of this realm, but you are not the only player and person with ambitions. |
