DescriptionAfter years of peace followed by conflict and war that ravaged the Alpha and Beta Quadrant through the 2370's the Federation saw a time of peace once more in the 2380's. Worlds rebuilt themselves and new members found themselves entering the Federation, even old foes were found serving on Starships for the first time. However things are changing once more and all of this progress is threatened. With the destruction of Romulus having passed and old foes all along the Beta quadrant making skirmishes into Romulan territory and even near Federation space everyone is on high alert. Too many ships have been re deployed on relief efforts or border patrol missions or even still are out exploring the vast of space once more as Starfleet has taken back to it's roots. However that left a problem when unexpected crisis' would arise or missions requiring an urgent response needed a ship and now. This The USS Venice was commissioned and assigned to Pegasus Fleet as their elite trouble shooter; a Steamrunner-class vessel that has no defined patrol zone and goes simply where she is needed. Commanded by Commander Thelin ch'Ren, the Venice will be as swift and agile as the famed winged lion which overseems her namesake back on Earth; to those in need and that which begs to be answered she will beckon their call and carve her own fate. Staffed with the best officers and most diverse specialists Starfleet can offer the crew is what makes the Venice such an asset. As such she is always looking for talented officers and enlisted personnel. The USS Venice is the home of passionate and dedicated writers who enjoy the Star Trek universe and are members of Pegasus Fleet. We strive to bring our characters to life through our stories that focus on more than just action but on things such as character development and exploration. Beyond every corner there is always something new to be discovered, sometimes it's even right underneath our own feet. You merely have to open your eyes, ears, and mind. Please enjoy your visit to our home and if you enjoy our ideals consider making the Venice your home too! |
