DescriptionThis is our world. The place, London, United Kindom. The year is 2009. It's the world as we know it, where super people only exist on paper or in the movies or on TV. On the first day of the first month (January 1st) some people start turn into Metas, people with super powers. You can also call them Supers or Heroes, whatever you want. There is a plot in the background, but the majority of the game will be written in cooperation. If you say your character can do something, then it needs a really good reason why it wouldn't work. In the same vein, if you say that your character can make his thumb glow green, melting Tower Bridge is out of the question. The system is really easy. It is free-form writing, so you can make up pretty much anything you want. You design your character without points, so if you want you CAN play Prime Minister Gordon Brown with the ability to control asteroids (why you would want this I cannot fathom). A few powers are out, though. No time travelling. While a cool power, it is too complicated unless one is willing to sit down and plan everything in advance. So, no going back in time. Or into the future. How do you play ? Send your charater concept to Sarah.Lindner.GCC@googlemail.com. Describe him or her, his or her origin, powers and the extend of them, and what you want to do, where you want to go with this power. There are no limits - if you want to help people by ripping off the heads of muggers - nobody is stopping you. Well, the police will try, but unlike the US police English cops do not shoot right away. Most of them do not have guns at all. If you want your mind bender to take control of the British government - by all means, go ahead. And if all you want to do is rape, pillage and slaughter - give it a try. I am not putting any limits up - so far. If you want to play a monster - so be it. I reserve the right to change my mind of course. So, if you are interested, or have questions, send an email to Sarah.Lindner.GCC@googlemail.com |
