Description

As the Breen battlecruiser comes about off your starboard bow, you brace for the impact of their disrupters. The main viewer appears to be kilometers away, floating in a haze of crimson as the red alert klaxons wail. You turn and look at your bridge crew, each working intently at their assigned duty stations. 'This was supposed to be a routine patrol,' you remind yourself, 'Where in the hell did they come from?'

You manage to get to your feet, only to be thrown to the deck as the third set of disruptors slams into your ship. "They've targeted Main Engineering, Captain! Heavy damage to decks 8 through 13; forward shields are at 20 percent and failing."

Looking up, you see the Alien Cruiser come about, probably for the last time. Pulling yourself into your command chair, you stare grimly at the viewscreen, ignoring the expectant gazes of your bridgecrew. As you lean forward, your next order just on your lips, you feel a slight smile cross your face, slowly curling up at the edges of your mouth.

You are a Starfleet Officer after all, among the best and most accomplished in the Universe, and you have been in situations worse than this...

...far worse...

Welcome Cadet, to the Final Frontier!

Every one has a call in life, to lead, to follow ... to study, to explore.

These are the hearty souls which ply the space lanes in A Call To Duty, the only Star Trek Roleplaying game on the Internet ever officially endorsed by Paramount Digital Entertainment. By joining the crews of A Call To Duty, you not only serve aboard a starship defending the frontier from the Dominion threat or boldly going into unexplored space, contacting new races and seeking to gain that next level of knowledge, you do so aboard ships approved by the very minds which created the Star Trek we all know and love.

So, are you going heed the call?
