DescriptionLooking for heroic action figure who *can* and *enjoys* writing. (grin) I would like to start a dialogue via Yahoo Instant Messenger about a few interactive fiction/game ideas that I have. An international spy thriller such as `Bourne Identity,' the short-lived series `Eyes,' `Da Vinci Code,' an investigator who has supernatural abilities such as `Medium,' or `Dresden Files,' or maybe even an Average Joe reporter who stumbles on the supernatural such as `Night Stalker,' could even be a small town soap opera setting where there's a mystery to be solved. I will not copy ANY of these movies or TV shows. It's just to give you an idea of what I'm thinking about. Original characters and settings are a must! We have to start a dialogue via IM because I don't want to spend a lot of time figuring out if we have the same ideas and goals. I am not interested in playing anything that resembles Heroes or Charmed or Buffy or X-Men or anything else that involves Superheroes. These are all fine and dandy, but not for me. My interest lies in a game where the hero is above average in some things, but not all and his or her quirk is not so evident to everyone--even something they would want to keep hidden. If you're a Superhero, or an ex-super spy, or ex or current Black Ops yourself, please don't apply. I won't be able to measure up to your superior intellect. I'm just here for fun, not to make sure I get every detail exact on how to work sixty different types of assault weapons. I need regular folk who don't take everything *so* seriously, enjoy gaming, enjoy writing, understand the importance of follow through.
