DescriptionCaelum videre iussit, et erectos ad sidera tollere vultus - He bid them look at the sky and lift their faces to the stars. (Ovid) Do you remember? Do you remember what it was like as a child, standing outside in the dark, unafraid, staring at the stars, and yearning? Do you remember the thrill of discovery? The accomplishment you felt at receiving praise hard-won? The calm sense of purpose you felt when you fought for a cause that you knew to be just? Then this is your ship. The USS Audax is a Steamrunner-class Federation vessel. Newly commissioned, she's recently departed Earth for her shakedown cruise. She's a sleek ship, quick and agile, and packs a stronger punch than you'd suspect - because there are times when the velvet glove must be removed. Her mission? Exploration. Scientific discovery. Defend the Federation. And have fun. The USS Audax is a Canon play by email simulation where the members of the ship write logs each week. The requirement isn't much to join the fun! All you need to do is write one quality log per week. That is so say at least a few paragraphs long! It's all about the quality of the writing not the quantity. Each member of the starship is as important as the other. Whether you be a Senior Officer, Chief, a New Academy Graduate or a Non Commissioned Officer. We are searching for creative writers to fill out the following positions: Chief Engineer Engineer Security Science Medical If you have any questions please don't hesitate the Audax Command team. Or join us on IRC at irc.darkmyst.org in #uss-audax. =/= Captain K`ylana Vilqa |
