DescriptionTotal Warfare is based heavily on a PBEM released around 2000 called "Rainbow's End" that was written by Russell Wallace (the same person who developed the original Galaxy PBEM). At the time, he had planned on making a lot of updates to his game to provide a more robust game, but as far as I know that failed to happen. A lot of the concepts in Total Warfare are very similar and I borrowed quite a bit from his game mechanics. The goal of the game is to kill off all the other players that are on the map using your army units. Players have the ability to train new units and to build settlements, towns, cities and castle.
