Well, the collection of angry peasants (unlike pheasants, who apparently
would stick around forever <g>) is built around a temporary 'term of
duty'; they leave/disperse after it's over. In a captive environment, the
real world implies they wouldn't just jump overboard to drown, but this
distorts the collection of AP somewhat. Maybe not enough to worry about,
or to special-case them deserting as soon as a port is reached.
Appropriate to the game appears to be to still have them slip softly
away if you can't keep them encouraged, even if this would have them
jump overboard.
I was just curious as to how this kind of thing was designed/handled.
