This is the point. Olympia favors long-term alliances over short-term
ones. Scott would like to make it easier to have short-term alliances.
I agree that it might well be a difference in how Scott and you play the
game, but I don't agree that the fact that a game lasts for a long time
necessarily means that only long-term alliances should be encouraged.
