Movement rates.....

I have no problem with the movement rates as they now stand, so I
have been pretty quiet during this whole discussion. But the comments
made during the ship vs. mounted movement rates has raised the valid
point about long-term mounted movement.
Horses get very tired if asked to carry riders for long distances
continuously. What would everyone think of limiting fast horseback
movement to 10 days worth per turn? If you wanted to stay mounted
for the entire turn, you would need 2 remounts (in game terms, you would
want to be below 1/3 carrying capacity) for each rider.
