I am curious if it is even true that a large number of players want more
options to control their players in the middle of the turn. Even if it is
true, that doesn't necessarily mean that it should be done. But if it's
not true, as I half-suspect, then it certainly should not be done. I haven't
seen any great outpouring of support for the concept, and I think more than
one comment, like mine, that part of the charm of Olympia is having to plan
a month at a time rather than being able to control every response of your
nobles day-by-day. Is the only reason that turns run a month at a time
instead of a day at a time because the game would go too slowly otherwise?
I don't think so.
