Does it? The ones I've found are one-way. A regular trade route
would still involve ships, horses or whatever. Yes, gates might speed
up part of the route - but it costs a noble point to use them.

Anyway, if you can come up with some sort of 'income sanity check'
for your gamemaster summary report, you can catch some problems then.
Add a line to the rulebook about 'markets may very occasionally
change what they offer or demand' and you're covered for any remedial
hacking that may be necessary. If you really, really had to, you
could even announce a 'recession' and decrease tradegoods available
by a few percent a month until the money supply was under control!

By the way, I really, really like the rankings that now appear on our
turns!
