Well, those are implementation details. Consider it this way: Just
pick up X, and plug it into the hole left by B. Conceptually, very
simple. No muss, no fuss, no bother :-)

Sure, if we want to do a desertion check at this time, no problemo.
If a unit fails a desertion check, only that unit leaves, right (just
another case of a unit in the middle of a hierarchy dropping out)?
