The site is the Community Center on South Railroad Avenue in Harleyville, S.C. (This is a new site! Do NOT go to the traditional Manannan site!) This site is very discreetly wet. Fighting activities will focus on the traditional tourney of Manannan Mac Lir with prizes to include the brooch of Manannan Mac Lir. There will be a separate prize for best crest. (This will be judged even if time does not permit!)

For those who prefer the sharper art of fencing we will hold a musketeer rapier tourney. A lady will be chosen as the queen and you must fight to rescue her from the machinations of the evil Richelieu.

Mannanananan offers more: We would not forget the artisans or children! There will be an open arts display with a gift for the creator of the item with the best use of a sea theme. For children we have several games planned, both indoors and out (weather permitting). The day will end with a surprising feast prepared by Lord Volgar, with dancing to follow. This can be musical, poetical, dramatical, terpsichorean, culinary, or something so simple as telling a joke! The whole purpose of the event is to provide a warm, welcoming venue to all children of the Muses. As always, Baron Igor will be conducting his annual demonstration that cooking is too a performing art!
