Missile Attacks
Units in the rear may attack with their missile rating. Units in front
attack with either their missile rating, or their attack rating, whichever is
higher.
(this is saying a rear fighter can only attack from the rear if he has a
missle rating...It also says more clearly the front line will use the higher
rating)

The 2nd line...
Thus, a noble with rating (attack=80, defense=80, missile=40) will do an
attack of 40 when in the rear, and an attack of 80 when in front.
(I assume here that if that missle rating was zero no attack occurs from the
rear, meaning no 615 no missle attack)

I cut out the weather effects and go directly to the bottom line...

If a fighter's missile rating is zero, it can not attack from the rear. In
this case, the fighter will use its attack rating like a regular soldier.
(is this saying, a noble in the rear without a mssle rating won't attack
at all til it becomes the front row, so xbow or elites with a noble in the
rear without 615 wont do anything til its front row then fight with attack
rating?)
Or that soldiers pike and guard under any noble in the rear wont fight til
it reaches the front row? i assume it to be both

It does use 3 different words, units, noble, fighter
It could be clearer but I assume that common sense applies

Rules aside I add this...I came out of my castle to clear the savages from
my mine. I took ten elite archers ten swords and ten workers...vs 35 savages
Suprise...savage was killed lost 35 savages, my casulties?
2 elites...whatever edge you think you might be getting in the front row
guess who your first casualties will be?
Kinda makes a 2 rd fight a little tougher i think, if you make to rd 2 >>
