Now to me, that bit sounded like a compliment. I admire ruthlessness. :)

I have no idea what the ulcer bit meant, but I for one consider $2.50 a
week to be chump change, considering how much I get for it. Not that I
wouldn't mind getting even more for it. :)

Everyone (excepting newbies, of course) knows about about that bug and it
has been "discussed" more than I care to recall. You are right, they can
complain to Rich or drop out if they would like. It is their decision. But
if they post something in the Times or on this list, they are talking to us
and we have the right to reply.

Amazing that you can discern someone's emotions from a mere email message. I
for one have trouble reading emotions when I am face-to-face. Maybe he was
just baiting you, which may not be sporting, but you certainly bit.

Just to be clear: this is commentary, not some expression of a deap-seated
negative emotion I feel for you personally :)
