Tanstagi Protectorate Ravaged

My people came into this world in the third month of the fifth year,
in the sweet season of Blossom Bloom. We pledged ourselves to House
Carnelian, who treated us fairly and taught us much. We fought and
bled and died for our fellow members of the Harn Confederacy and
served with honour until its dissolution. From the ashes of the
Confederacy we helped raise the Tanstaafl League and our own land,
the Tanstagi Protectorate. We have dealt fairly and honestly with
all. We have steered the middle course of peace, though war raged
on all sides. Now, we have been violated. Our lands have been
stolen and our nobles have been put in jeopardy, even killed. Our
enemy is nameless, faceless; and fortunate for them that it is so,
for when we find their identity, we will hunt them down and execute
them to the very last treacherous dog. Our ravaged lands and spilled
blood demand no less. We are at war.
