First of all, Mordred (AKA Peter) is upset with me for using his real name on
the list instead of his game name. Well, I am sorry Mordred. But, for the
record, every email Mordred sent me on the subject, including the one in
which he tried to blackmail me, was signed simply "Peter". I'm sorry if I
called him Peter after he signed four straight emails, including a blackmail
demand, Peter. I guess I'm just funny that way. I have since learned from
the volumes of email I'm being sent about him that he prefers the "game name"
of Mordred. Fine by me. I was not black mailed by Peter....I was
blackmailed by Mordred.
Secondly,
while it appears that Lord Foul is involved in this little scheme on some
level, he may not have been fully aware of Modred's machinations. It is
becoming apparent that Foul & Mordred (and others) were working to form this
new alliance called the Greyfell Privateers, but that Foul and the rest of
the group may have been unaware of the tactics that Mordred was employing to
achieve his goal. So I would like to rescind any undo disparagement I may
have heaped upon Foul and invite him to continue to shed whatever light he
may wish to on this most sordid situation. I would like to believe that the
Privateers are as outraged at these events as I am and hope they take proper
steps to see that they are never put in this position again.
And lastly, I'd like to thank all of the support I've received both public
and private. The offers for assistance, both military and other, are
appreciated but hopefully not needed. As I mentioned yesterday, I have not
been threatened by force, but by subterfuge. The political arena is one I
feel comfortable fighting my own battles in, but if the Privateers care to
escalate this problem I know that I have a stack of chips that I can cash in
around the world. Thanks again.
