I will comment on this, no matter how many others already have, because I
feel I have a stake. I will firstly confirm that the castle was vacant when
Eric arrived, well apart from a few savages. I will also confirm it was not
Lord Banes Castle, we trashed them to the south in the provinces Eric
mentioned. I was fully aware of Eric moving in, and had actually discussed
it with him as he originally intended to torch it with the other 2 (I
think). I will also say here that Eric and I, and TIBs in a different degree
have a defense pact. To this end I will defend, with all my power, Farnhams
Freehold alongside my neighbor. This does not involve my TIBs friendship and
I don't ask for their involvement, unless they have already made plans with
Eric, but I will direct all my resources to the effort.
