Actually, blaming you is easier than blaming their own lack of insight and
incompetence. It also serves as a nice propaganda tool to hand out to the
underlings to create a nice god/devil, good/bad dichotomy. (If we hate
cendage and cendage is evil, then by default we must be good and right and
just and blah blah blah--in other words, we can't win followers by reason so
we will play little propaganda games to confuse and fool you.)

I would theorize that the reason diplomatic pundits dispise Cendage so much
is b/c his diplomatic skills far exceed their own. Of course I could be
wrong, but I find it oh so amusing that cendage is blamed for subversive
wrongdoing that the complainers are incapable of stopping (read:
incompetence).

Oh yeah, the Ergothian manifesto that provoked a terse history lesson from
greg (as theoretically ignorant as the lesson was) echoes in great part the
musketeer arguments for attacking the LOTC. At the time of the Great
Musketeer Blustering (GMB), I could have sworn I was going to vomit; I could
only stand so much talk about oppression, freedom, death and glory.
obviously the musketeers have to resort to animated sword waving b/c their
diplomatic intuition is lacking.

In the meantime, I congratulate the Musketeers on another diplomatic mishap.
It's nice to know that power and incompetence within the musketeer hierarchy
are still bound together.
