Re: changing email address for turn delivery?

I tried to move this thread to email but Greg has asked me not to send him
"personal email". This leaves my only avenue of response to be on the list.
I apologise to all and invite Greg to send any response he may have directly
to me.

Weird. I saw the oringal question, and your response, but I never saw
Ronny's email to you.....I guess I'll chalk it up to another black hole in
AOL communications :-)

I don't mean to nit-pick Greg, but I did say "if" which is pretty important
to the meaning of my sentence. I said "IF Greg...has such disdain...." I
was trying to be very careful to not acuse anybody of anything, but instead
to ask questions to find out if my interpretation was correct. As to WHY I
made such a statement I would have to say that it's based on your body of
work. If you're not trying to show disdain for question askers you should be
aware that, at least some of the time, that's the impression you give.
Obviously it's not just me either....Ronny said basically the same thing.
Not trying to be rude, just telling you how it's seen from anothe perspective.

Greg, your work for and in Olympia is noted and appreciated by many I'm sure.
I think characterizing my post as a "flame" is a bit of an exageration. You
are correct that my post was based on my interpretation of what was written,
and I think I said as much. And my point was not to flame you but to join in
a conversation. When it was simply a matter of you and Ronny disagreeing I
was content to sit on the sidelines as it was none of my business. But when
Basil weighed in I felt the need to speak up to "balance the scales".
Whether or not you meant your response to seem rude or brisk it did to at
least a few players (even Basil said as much). That's not a flame or an
insult or anything else. It's just an opinion.
