I had a noble die in turn 94. I was waiting for another (second) NP anyway,
so I didn't do anything but wait for him to "pass on". He did, in turn 106, & I
got this one-liner in my turn report:
30: Sylvanus [XXXX] has passed on. Gained 1 NP.

The NP was recovered.

This, of course has nothing to do (I think) with the original bug report of this
thread, which involved a different feature (Lay to Rest of a dead noble's
body). I have no information, one way or the other, on that one, or on trying
to bribe back an AWOL noble.
